Zoedale Plc has been selected to provide it's range of Bernard Electric Actuators for a revolutionary, underground, domestic waste incineration and recycling plant presently being constructed alongside the River Seine close to Paris. Known as the Isseane project, this design is considered to be one of the most environmentally friendly means of waste disposal in the world. 356 - AS18 400v 3 phase quarter turn Bernard actuators from Zoedale will operate the fire dampers within the plant, a large proportion of which will be "well dressed" in ZEL fire jackets. These fire jackets, developed and tested by Zoedale, enable the actuators to function in atmospheres up to 200 degrees C for one hour. Similar jackets are available for temperatures up to 400 degrees C for two hours. Certification is available for both options.
